Leak Jet Plumbing

About us

Plumbing you can actually trust

Leak Jet Plumbing was built on a simple idea: show up fast, quote honestly, and fix it properly the first time.

Our story

[TODO — replace with the real founding story: what problem prompted starting Leak Jet Plumbing, how long the business has been operating, and what's changed along the way. A specific, human story here does more for trust than any stock description — this placeholder is intentionally generic until real details are supplied.]

What hasn't changed: every job gets diagnosed properly, quoted honestly, and fixed to a standard we'd be happy with in our own homes.

Questions

About us, answered

Why does PIRB registration actually matter?

It's not just paperwork. PIRB-registered plumbers are required to issue a Certificate of Compliance for completed work, and in most municipalities, unregistered plumbing work on a property is against the law. Registration also gives you a formal complaints channel if something ever goes wrong — protection an unregistered plumber can't offer.

What does IOPSA membership add on top of PIRB?

IOPSA (Institute of Plumbing South Africa) sets business-ethics and installation standards on top of PIRB's technical registration, and runs an independent complaints portal that can inspect and rule on member work at no charge to you.

Do you only work on emergencies, or scheduled jobs too?

Both — emergency call-outs run 24/7, but the majority of our work is scheduled installations, renovations, and maintenance. Emergencies just tend to be what people remember a plumber for.

How do you price a job if you haven't seen it yet?

We don't — every quote is confirmed on-site or after a clear description of the problem, before any work starts. Phone estimates for anything beyond a simple call-out fee are guesswork, and we'd rather not guess with your money.
